Bengali babe Bollywood actress Riya Sen's hottest real life pictures. Riya Sen, who hails from a family of actors including her grandmother Suchitra Sen, mother Moon Moon Sen and sister Raima Sen, began her acting career in 1991 as a child artiste in the film Vishkanya.



Her first commercial success in her film career was with Style, a 2001 Hindi low-budget comedy directed by N. Chandra. Some of her other films include producer Pritish Nandy's musical film, Jhankaar Beats (2001) in Hinglish, Shaadi No. 1 (2005) Malayalam horror film Ananthabhadram.

Reema Sen is an Indian actress and model. In Mumbai, Reema Sen began her modeling career, appearing in a number of advertising campaigns.





Later on, Sen moved from modeling to acting. Her first film was the low-budget, Chitram, in Telugu, in which she acted opposite Uday Kiran. She also starred in the successful, Manasanta Nuvve, another Telugu film, again alongside Uday Kiran. Later she appeared in the Tamil film, Minnale, which was very successful.

Super Model Padma Lakshmi

Padma Lakshmi (1st September,1970) is an Indian-American cookbook author, actress, and former Super Model who has described herself as the first well-known model from India. She has been the host of the reality television program Top Chef since season two and is an ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women.

Lakshmi's career began at age 20, when she was discovered by a modeling agent in Spain while sitting in a café. As she has stated, “I was the first Indian model to have a career in Paris, Milan and New York. I’m the first one to admit that I was a novelty.” Despite Lakshmi's comment about her being a pioneer as a model of Indian descent, her career follows in the footsteps of Persis Khambatta, a former Miss India, who modeled for Revlon and had a featured role in the 1979 film Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

She has modeled for top designers such as Emanuel Ungaro, Ralph Lauren, and Alberta Ferretti and done ad campaigns for Roberto Cavalli and Versus. She was a favorite model of the photographer Helmut Newton, whose photographs of her often highlighted the large scar on her right arm.

She has appeared on the magazine covers of Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Newsweek etc.

She co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff in the 2003 Hindi action box office failure Boom as Shiela Bardez, one of a trio of supermodels accused of stealing diamonds. Lakshmi was last seen on screen as Geeta with Aishwarya Rai and Dylan McDermott in Paul Mayeda Berges' 2005 film The Mistress of Spices. Padma was also seen in Oscar-nominated director Deepa Mehta's (Water).

Her first cookbook Easy Exotic was awarded Best First Book at the 1999 World Cookbook Awards at Versailles.

Hot Mrinalini Sharma

Mrinalini is not new to the world of showbiz. She’s been an active model and has been part of many advertisements as well.

She graduated from ramps to reel with an item number in Prakash Jha’s movie Apaharan. But her acting career has taken off with two films with Mahesh Bhatt .

The first one was Awarapan in which she shared screen space with the Bhatts’ blue-eyed boy Emraan Hashmi. The other movie Mrinalini bagged was choreographer Raju Khan’s directorial debut Showbiz, in which she was paired with another newcomer Tushar Jalota.

Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar 2008 launch party pictures

The much-awaited and much-coveted Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar was launched over a high-profile brunch in Mumbai. Shot in Goa and Ladakh by celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar, the calender features some of India's hottest bods in itsy-bitsy swimwear.

The event saw the city's glam set turn up in all white, as John Abraham did the honours of officially launching the calendar.

Some air kissing, then dancing and lots of sizzling models thrown in – the ambiance was perfect to launch the sizzling hot, swim suit special calendar.

“If it is hot cars, it is pretty good, if it is motorbikes, it is even better. But if it is hot women on hot cars and bikes, it’s wow!” ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar said.

The Kingfisher Calendar this year was shot at the best travel destinations in India. And it was the king himself, business tycoon Vijay Mallya, who looked at every detail while choosing the models.

“I look at the physical aspects, in photographic form only, I might add,” Mallya said.

However there are only just 100 copies available.

“Vijay has signed one and given me. I usually don't put it, but I'll make it a point to put up a Kingfisher for sure,” actor John Abraham said.

As for the others, they have their pretty obvious reasons to love this calendar. With most men agreeing to the age-old fact that it’s always a “treat to see pretty women and if they are in a swimsuit it’s an added bliss.”

But the man behind the lenses however does not think the same. Photographer Atul Kasbekar, who shot the beautiful ladies said, “I don't want to see any woman in a swim suit for a whole year.”
