Shetty made her debut in the Telugu movie 'Super', directed by Puri jagannath in 2005. In the same year, she acted in another film 'Mahanandi'. In 2006 Shetty made a guest appearance in the film Stalin. Shetty portrayed the character Neeraja Goswami opposite Ravi Teja in Vikramarkudu.
Anushka starred in films such as Chintakayala Ravi, Souryam, Okka Magadu, Swagatham, Baladoor and in 2009's Arundhati & Billa.
Currently Anushka is acting with Vijay in Vettaikkaran which will be a January 2010 release as well as with Mahesh Babu in Khiladi which will be released in summer 2010.
