Plot
Paa tells the story of an intelligent and witty 13-year-old boy, Auro (Amitabh Bachchan), who suffers from progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder wherein symptoms resembling aspects of aging are manifested at an early age. Mentally he is 13, very normal, but physically he looks 5 times older. In spite of his condition, Auro is a very happy boy.

Auro lives with his mother Vidya (Vidya Balan), a gynaecologist. He is unaware that idealistic young MP Amol Arte (Abhishek Bachchan) is his father, who had had a relationship with his mother while the two were students at Cambridge University. Amol, is young, progressive and a full of ideals, politician. He is out to prove to the world that 'politics' is not a bad word. He is a man with a mission.

After Arte meets Auro, whom he does not know is his son, at an event at the upscale Prince Edward VII School in Lucknow, the two develop an unlikely and occasionally difficult friendship, to Vidya's dismay. Auro eventually learns the truth, keeping it from Arte as he comes to grips with it himself.

Paa is a 'rare' story about a father-son, son-father relationship. Paa has a loud and clear message for everyone, everywhere in the world, for the change. "Be the change, You want to see".

Aishwarya Abhishek signed up for Rs 25 crore for soap ad

If any further proof was needed that Aishwarya Rai - Abhishek Bachchan are the hottest couple in Bollywood, then look no further than this. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been apparently signed up for an amazing Rs 25 crore to feature in a soap ad.



The deal was under finalisation for the past few days, but had been kept secret.

The company and its advertising agency were very keen to have both Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek together in the soap ad and they had been negotiating with them for some time now.

In India, brand endorsements by celebrities, especially Bollywood stars ensures the necessary brand visibility for the product.

Since Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek have done a few films together which were hits and have Mani Ratnam's next movie 'Raavan' lining up for release in a short time, the ad filmmakers very quite keen to sign them up.

This is the first time that Aishwarya Rai will be seen in a commercial with husband Abhishek.

The soap commercial will be filmed abroad.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, one of the hottest couples in Bollywood, featured on the famous Oprah Winfrey show.

This is the second time that Aishwarya Rai is appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show.

This time she was accompanied by her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

In reply to a question by Oprah, that Aishwarya has never been kissed on screen, Abhishek immediately kissed Aishwarya.

Amitabh Bachchan hospitalised on his 66th birthday

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who was supposed to be celebrating his 66th birthday, instead, was hospitalised to the dismay of his adoring fans on Saturday. Amitabh Bachchan is currently admitted in Suite 1101 of Lilavati Hospital in Bandra. He was initially taken to Nanavati Hospital after experiencing abdominal pains and breathing problems. Although the doctors did not give details to the media, Abhishek Bachchan, said his father would spend at least 72 hours in hospital.

As soon as the news spread, a large crowd of fans and well wishers gathered outside his residence and Lilavati hospital. Many of them were seen praying for his speedy recovery.











As per reports Amitabh Bachchan is suffering from abdomen pain, caused due to either hernia, appendicitis, diverculitis or viral gastroenteritis.

Amitabh Bachchan had in fact just returned on Friday evening after shooting for the movie Teen Patti. After reaching his residence at Jalsa, he began experiencing dehydration and a slight pain in the stomach.











In 2005, Amitabh Bachchan had been hospitalised for nearly two months due to abdominal pains while he was in Delhi and which was later diagnosed as diverticulitis of the small intestine.

Everyone was surprised to see King Khan, Shah Rukh himself with his family at the premiere. Shah Rukh Khan denied that there was any rift between him and Amitabh Bachchan and said that it was all a media created hype and rumours without any substance.

Shah Rukh said, "I am excited to see Abhishek in the film. I think he has really put in great efforts for the film and I wish him all success."





















Abhishek said, "I am very excited and nervous as well. We will come to know in one two days how did people like the film. We have all worked very hard for the film and I want it to do well".
