Yash Raj Films, in a departure from their usual tradition, released the first promo of Shah Rukh Khan's film "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" before its music release, on his birthday, as a special gift to him. The promo features the song 'Haule Haule' which has Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma.
Although the story of the film has been kept a closely guarded secret by director Aditya Chopra, it is said that Shah Rukh Khan plays a double role in the film - one of a ordinary looking gentleman and the other of a slick city dude having spiked hair and wearing trendy clothes. Also, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra will be seen in special appearances in the movie.
After superhits Chak De! India and Om Shanti Om in 2007, Shah Rukh Khan has not had any movie release so far in 2008, so his film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' has evoked great interest amongst his fans.
Shah Rukh Khan earns more than 150 crores every year through product endorsements and charges more than 15 crores for each movie.
Shah Rukh Khan's other forthcoming new movies are Billo Barber, My Name is Khan, Dulha Mil Gaya, Don - The Chase Begins Again and a voiceover in the animation movie Koochie Koochie Hota Hain, so his fans can expect a great year ahead.
