Priyanka Chopra plays the role of a middle class Maharashtrian girl while Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a gambler. Shahid Kapoor will be seen in a new look in the film and he is deliberately kept out of media focus till the movie releases.
Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have been bonding very well together on the sets and get along like a house on fire. After his breakup with Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor has been linked with various celebrities such as Sania Mirza, Vidya Balan etc.
Priyanka Chopra had earlier refused to do a kissing scene with her boyfriend Harman Baweja in one of their earlier movies. So, it was quite surprising that she agreed to do the kissing scene with Shahid Kapoor.
Kaminey is expected to release in March 2009.
